The best time to post on TikTok can vary depending on the type of audience and the type of content you create. However, there are some tricks that are well known and that I have learned growing up using social media. For starters, weekdays tend to be better than weekends because there are higher engagement rates on tik tok due to people being busier on weekends with plans and maintaining a social life. For example, after workdays people love to chill out post 9-5. This is usually the time they got lost in the TikTok trance, we are all guilty of it! Late afternoon or early evening is a good time because as I mentioned, many people check TikTok during their downtime after school or work, so posting during this time is prime. Because tik tok is universal, time zones matter. If you have a specific audience in mind, make sure you are posting during the time when they are most active. For example, if you want to target a younger audience, you may want to post in the late afternoon or early evening when they are more likely to be online after school. It’s important to consider the timing of your posts because it can affect how many people see your content and engage with it. If you post when your audience is most active, your content is more likely to be seen and shared, which can help you gain more followers and increase your engagement rate. However, it’s also important to focus on creating quality content that resonates with your audience, as this is ultimately what will keep them coming back for more at the end of the day.
